The 5-inch sisal poles are what sold me—my 14-pound Maine Coon launches himself onto the top platform and it doesn't even wobble. He's claimed the highest bed as his throne, and honestly, the grey goes so well with our living room that I don't mind it being the centerpiece.
My two cats fought over the top perch for the first hour—that's how you know it's a winner. Those 5-inch thick sisal poles are seriously sturdy, and it doesn't wobble at all when they launch themselves off the top level. Definitely the best cat tree I've owned.
