Our old top platform was scratched beyond saving, and this replacement slot right in with the existing screw hole, took me two minutes to swap. The 24x17 surface gives my 15-pound cat plenty of room to sprawl out, and the light grey doesn't show fur as badly as I feared.
The grey is a perfect match for the rest of the setup, and the M8 hole lined up without any fiddling. My cat claimed it within ten minutes, and the 24-inch width gives her plenty of room to stretch out.
The screw hole (M8) lined up fine with my existing setup, but the surface felt a bit flimsier than the original piece I had. It works as a replacement, though I’d expect a sturdier build for the price. My cat uses it, but he’s not as enthusiastic as he was with the old one.
