Wall furniture and climbing wall for big cats Scratching board de Luxe. This scratching board by Cat Tree King Quality is, as we know, enormously strong and durable. Tested to a carrying capacity of 44 lbs and very suitable for large and heavy cats such as the Maine Coon or Ragdoll.
My 22-pound Maine Coon launches himself onto this thing like it's a jungle gym, and the rubberwood hasn't even creaked under the stress. The 4-cat carrying capacity is no joke, and the khaki finish blends right into my living room wall, which is a bonus I didn't expect.
It took my hefty 15-pounder a day to trust it, but now she treats the rubberwood plank like her personal throne and claws it without a wobble. The wall mount held up cleanly to her full weight during a dramatic leap, which is exactly what I needed for a cat who thinks she's a panther.
My 20-pound Maine Coon launches himself onto this thing daily and it hasn't budged an inch — that 4-kg tested capacity is no joke, the rubberwood feels rock solid. He's stopped clawing the sofa completely since we hung it up.
