This cat tree, the Natural Leaves, is a mega-stable scratching post with a base plate of 20x20 inch that is as thick as 1.6 inch. On top is a 6 inch thick sisal post with brown sisal (Sisal is glued, so it cannot roll off) which supports a plate where you cats can hide and chill. This cat tree has a unique, stylish look!
The 20x20 inch base plate feels rock solid even when my 12-pound guy launches himself onto the top perch, and the 6-inch-thick sisal post has already survived a week of daily clawing without fraying. I'm actually relieved I don't have to brace it every time he jumps down.
