Ours scratched the old post to shreds within months, but this one's holding up way better. The 6-inch diameter gives her plenty of grip, and mounting was simple with the M8 holes at both ends.
My cat finally stopped scratching the couch corners. The 6-inch diameter is thick enough that she can really dig her claws in, and the beige color blends surprisingly well with our living room decor.
The M8 screw holes lined up perfectly with my existing setup, so mounting this 6-inch-diameter pole was a breeze. My cat immediately started scratching it and the sisal feels dense enough to actually hold up over time.
