The sisal poles really are six inches thick—my 18-pound ragdoll can dig his claws in and the whole thing barely wobbles. The hideaway is roomy enough that he curls up in there instead of under the couch now.

The 6-inch thick sisal poles are a godsend for my two 20-pound Maine Coons—they can both scratch at the same tower without it wobbling even an inch. Finally a cat tree that doesn't groan under their weight, and the light grey fabric hides fur and dirt surprisingly well for a multi-cat household.
